Once the Baseline is approved, periodically the planner has to update the schedule with the status of each activity at the updating date. It is the only way to know the current status of the project. Updating the project must be always based on contemporary data. After performing the update the planner is ready to produce the Look Ahead schedule reports. All is described in the presentation below. I choose as an example a Data Center project, inspired by the Data Center project in Odense, Denmark.
Please be aware of the following:
– The time-schedules used to support my explanation are very schematic; the aim was that the content has not to exceed one page;
– The content of (almost) each sheet is presented in two areas: (1) pics, bar charts, curves etc. and (2) narrative description. It is advisable that you pay equal attention to both these areas as they contain complementary information.
